Michigan Family Finds Comfort Close to Hospital with Hope’s Harbor Support
Families facing medical challenges often travel far from home to ensure their loved ones receive the care they need. For Andrew and Nanci Rhind from Michigan, that journey became more manageable thanks to Hope’s Harbor Family Hospitality Homes.
When their daughter, a college student near Fort Wayne, was hospitalized early in the fall semester, the Rhinds found themselves four hours from home during an already stressful time. Hope’s Harbor provided them with a welcoming place to stay, allowing them to remain close to their daughter throughout her week-long hospital stay.
“Hope’s Harbor was so welcoming, accommodating and helpful. We were able to register for a room and got a tour of the facility with all the wonderful things that were available to us. Our daughter ended up being in the hospital for a week. Hope’s Harbor made that so much easier,” the Rhinds shared.
The Rhinds described the facility as beautiful, clean, safe, and well maintained, highlighting the comfort and peace of mind it provided during an uncertain time.
Hope’s Harbor continues to serve families from across the region and beyond, offering not just housing, but a supportive environment during some of life’s most challenging moments.
