Hope’s Harbor Receives $3,500 Grant from Adams County Community Foundation
Hope’s Harbor Family Hospitality Homes is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $3,500 grant from the Adams County Community Foundation. This generous grant will support our mission of providing compassionate care and lodging for families of children receiving critical medical treatment in Fort Wayne hospitals.
“We are deeply grateful to the Adams County Community Foundation for their commitment to supporting families in need,” said Hannah, Development Coordinator at Hope’s Harbor. “This grant will allow us to continue providing essential services like comfortable accommodations and a welcoming environment, helping families stay close to their loved ones during challenging times.”
The impact of Hope’s Harbor is perhaps best expressed through the words of those who have stayed with us. One recent guest family shared their experience after staying 22 days while their baby was in the NICU:
“Thank you so much for letting us use this Hope House. It made it so much easier. And we could have our other daughter here with us. Everything was greatly appreciated. Thank you!”

The funds from this grant will go directly toward the operation of Hope’s Harbor’s facilities, which serve families from across the country and beyond. Each year, the organization helps hundreds of families facing the stress and uncertainty of having a child in the hospital by offering a place to rest, refresh, and connect with others experiencing similar hardships.
As Hope’s Harbor continues to grow, community support is vital to ensuring that every family has access to a safe and supportive space. The $3,500 grant from the Adams County Community Foundation will help Hope’s Harbor maintain its mission of Strength Next Door.
